[I] recently had the opportunity to be interviewed by the team at Elemental Women Productions, a New York City-based production company. Elemental Women Productions creates work for theater, film and other formats that empowers womxn’s voices while exploring, developing and sharing their stories with the world.
For me, the interview was an eye-opening experience. They asked some really good questions that allowed for self-reflection on how far I’ve come since making the decision to focus full-time on little word studio and writing. I realized, through the answers I gave that even though there were definitely missteps and mistakes (and there will be a few more), every instance when I thought I was moving backward or in slow motion, I was still taken somewhere new. Also, any time you can talk about an old motel in the mountains of Upstate New York is a good time by me.
