“Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.”
It seems to be Harry Potter week on little word studio but when the childhood home of Mr. Potter is up for sale, you can’t NOT write about it. I describe, of course, Four Privet Drive, where Harry received his Hogwarts letter to attend the prestigious School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and where he received a questionable upbringing from the Dursleys and an even more questionable reception from their son, Dudley.
Price: £475,000 (or $821,587).
Plus, as long as no wizards decide to break the rules as set by the British Ministry of Magic and levitate the muggle-world home with a twirl of their wands and a quick “Wingardium Leviosa,” you just might find your happily ever after in the place where Harry Potter’s first began.
