Well haha, you seemingly absurd 90s-era fantasy because Legends of the Hidden Temple is back! Today, Nickelodeon announced it’s excavating the time-honored series with a 90-minute film airing on the channel Nov. 28, 8 p.m. EST/PST.
“I’m having a very good day,” tweeted writer Jonny Umansky this morning, who along with Zach Hyatt and Alex Reid, penned the soon-to-be epic extravaganza of faux-ritualistic doom. The movie will follow three siblings, played by Isabela Moner (Transformers 5), Colin Critchley and Jet Jurgensmeyer, who join a cast that includes origina; host Kirk Fogg (yaaaas!), and Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of Olmec. Together, the crew “embarks on a high stakes, life-or-death mission,” according to the official Nick press release.

Get a taste of the epic-ness with this just-released trailer, which I watched before I wrote this post and now, once I hit publish, will commence scaling a foam-and-rubber mountain somewhere, searching for the Hidden Temple and fondly recalling the time I devoured an entire bag of Ring Pops, hoping that would get me closer to Temple triumph. I mean, what?
Oh here …
